PonyCycle® Troubleshooting

  • My pony cannot turn. What shall I do?

Please unzip the neck and ensure the bolts that connect the two pieces are securely fastened. Then zip it up.

  • My pony is all well before, but suddenly it cannot move forward when kid plays it. What happened?

1. Please check if the hoof is caught in the wheel. If the hoof is caught in the wheel, take it out.

2. Check if the stop ring is in the correct position. (Model U with brake doesn't have the stop ring, please ignore this step.)

3. Check if foreign objects such as hair and pet hair is in the wheel or between the fork. If foreign objects are caught, please clean them.

4. Make sure your kid is not riding on slippery ground.

5. If none of the above suggestions can solve your problem, please contact us at custserv@ponycycle.de and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

  • Why does the pony always go left or right instead of going straight when my kid is riding forward?

When installing the pony toy's head, please make sure the wheels are facing straight ahead. If the wheels are facing to the left or right during installation, it will cause the pony to move in the wrong direction when riding.

  • What shall I do when the Model U brake is too loose or too tight?

How to adjust the brake?

  • Sometime ago I purchased a PonyCycle® without a handbrake. Is it possible to buy a brake and mount it on the horse?

Unfortunately, it is not possible for technical reasons - it would require replacing several components, including the rear wheel, and drilling into the frame.
